There are always lots of variations and seasonal additions to the so-called ‘capsule-wardrobe’ but similarly there are also several staple items that are generally agreed to always make the cut. For me one of these must-have pieces is the simple stripe or breton top. It adds a chic touch to your basic jeans or leather skinnies, a casual feel under a blazer and it’s the perfect base for your gilet or to layer necklaces over for a little extra glam.
There are countless ways to wear this little basic from the school-run to the bar so it’s pretty much everyone’s BFF in some shape or form.
So why have I chosen now to sing the praises of this Parisian-style favourite? Well, because I just happened to pick up this fab little stripe top below from Red Herring last week for only £12! I was delighted with the bargain, especially because the quality and shape are both spot on. I’ve already paired it to date with my ripped jeans, my pale pink high waist trousers and a pair of navy shorts and I’ve it lined up for my leather skinnies and chunky necklace this evening. Not bad going eh.
BUT it gets better. If it wasn’t already a wee bargain at £12, Debenhams currently have a sale on instore and if you’re quick you can nab one for just £9.60!! Yes really… No-brainer.
Here’s the link to buy online >> (Stripe top Red Herring) or you can pick it up instore just be quick.
It’s ok ladies you can thank me later 😉
